Star Leaf, From the Britannica Series 2025 Limited Edition Print by Sabine von Falken on view in the Gallery
Dear Friends,
Happy Spring! We open our doors once again to celebrate the season—and Earth Day—with a new exhibition:
We invite you to visit us to experience new works by Sabine von Falken. In her recent photographs, Sabine captures Iceland’s volcanic terrain through the lens of the observer—tourists rendered small against the vast scale of geological time.
Also on view is her ongoing Britannica series, in which the natural and human-made artifacts are thoughtfully arranged and photographed on the pages of the 1929 Encyclopedia Britannica. These compositions reflect questions about knowledge, classification, and our evolving relationship with the natural world.
Then, on June 21, we will debut Peaks, Lisa Vollmer’s upcoming series of limited-edition prints created during her spring travels in the Swiss Alps. Stay tuned!
